In the context of globalisation, the health care system undergoes continous development. Thus an international orientation of studies in this field becomes necessary.
The Bielefeld University has been offering the European Master of Public Health as an add-on degree in conjunction with the regular MPH degree since 2002 under the framework of ASPHER, the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region.
Students wishing to add a European dimension to their MPH studies at the School of Public Health in Bielefeld can register for the EMPH once they have been accepted for the MPH degree. The EMPH cannot be studied seperately. The MPH/EMPH programme starts every October.
As indicated by the title, European Master of Public Health, this course of studies focusses on training in Public Health with a special European and international perspective.
If you are interested in a qualification which deals with European contents, ideas and developments in Public Health, the European Master of Public Health will be the right choice.
